Lot's of people I know HATE classics. I personally think it's just because they don't give them a try. I like most of them. Sure, there are some boring ones, but there are boring ones now Wink What do you think?

I LOVE LITTLE WOMAN and LITTLE MEN!!! I have also listened to Jane Eyre on book on cd. I liked that one!

One of my all time favs is The Hiding Place. Such a GREAT testimony! God is good!

I'm sure there are others that I have read... but they aren't coming to mind...

I enjoyed Where the Red Fern Grows! I don't want to read Old Yeller though... Both my parents said it ruined their childhood Very Happy

I haven't read either... But I don't think I would want to read either! They're both depressing!

I remembered that I've also read A Tale of Two Cities by Charles Dickens and Emma by Jane Austin.

I didn't at the time. I was 13 and HAD to read it for school.
But I did really appreciate it afterwards. Soon after I finished reading it, the BBC version came out. Then I was like "I remember that part!" Through out the entire thing hehe

Yeah! You should definitely watch it Very Happy I think it even trumps the BBC Pride and Prejudice (if you've seen that, you'll know how awesome that is Wink)

Oh, I love A Tale Of Two Cities! I have that, and Oliver Twist on tape, but sadly, our tape player, once again, has bitten the dust. Sad Sherlock Holmes is also one of my favs, and I'm about to begin Anne of Green Gables (no, I have never read It, although i've seen the movies and read the prequel, both of which were excellent) Smile

Me no like A Tale of Two Cities... But I'm glad you liked it Wink

I LOVE Sherlock Holmes! A Study in Scarlet will forever be my favorite! Now I haven't read all of them, but who has??

Anne of Green Gables is an awesome book! I never did finish reading the sequel though... I should try again!

Some of my favorites are: The Trial by Franz Kafka, Crime and Punishment by Fyodor Dostoyevsky, and The County of Monte Cristo by Alexandre Dumas.
