There is a lot of discussion about One Direction going on around the..world, I guess. I think their songs are catchy, but the morals, not so much. What do you think?

Really? What do you see in them? I mean, it's fine that you like them, but what about them do you like? Some like their looks, others like the music.

I like "What Makes You Beautiful." I don't listen to them beyond that though.

I really don't care for the whole "boy band" thing. I think it's silly. Saying that (and so you know I'm not just prejudice against 1D), I also didn't listen to the Joe Bros and Beiber when they were the band.

(Just to clarify, I know Beiber isn't a band.)

Yeah, that's how I am. I like What Makes You Beautiful, but everything else is just mushy gushy love stuff. Boy band stuff. Don't need it

Their loves songs are beautiful. Mushy gushy? Yes. That's how love should be. They're a lot like poetry, and love poetry is just that, "mushy gushy." So's a lot of Shakespeare, for that matter. That's not to say I'm especially crazy over 1 D, I've only heard a very few songs. But they're good songs. What's not to like about a good song?
